Herb Joiner-Bey ND is an experienced primary-care Naturopathic Physician
with specialization in classical homeopathy, therapeutic nutrition,
Western botanical medicine, and the conventional treatment of sexually
transmitted diseases. Dr. Joiner-Bey
gives strong focus to the emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of healing.
A dynamic professional educator and seminar
leader, Dr. Joiner-Bey has conducted seminars for medical colleges and
professional associations across the Nation. He has trained
thousands of health care professionals in the philosophy and clinical
application of modern, scientifically-verified natural medicine.
Dr. Herb Joiner-Bey ND is known for
enjoying the richness of working in ethnically
diverse environments in which all perspectives and traditions in health care are
respected, while maintaining a sensitivity to the cultural uniqueness of persons
being served.
Dr. Joiner-Bey is an author, consultant and
educator in natural medicine. Continuing education seminars in natural medicine
for pharmacists, chiropractors, and other health care professionals
are presented often by the Doctor. He serves as an instructor for the
post-graduate Nutrition Diplomate program of Logan Chiropractic College, St.
Louis, Missouri and as
adjunct professor of advanced naturopathic therapeutics and classical
homeopathy, Bastyr University, Kenmore, WA.
Dr. Herb Joiner-Bey holds a B.A. in Physics
with a Mathematics minor from prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore,
MD. Subsequently he
became a graduate of the Professional Course in Classical
Homeopathy, International Foundation for Homeopathy, N.D. (Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine),
from world-renowned Bastyr
University in Seattle, WA. Dr. Joiner-Bey was an instructor in human
anatomy and physiology at Tai Hsuan Foundation College of Acupuncture and Herbal
Medicine, Honolulu, Hawaii. While in Hawaii, he tailored a one-year
course in western anatomy and physiology to the needs of students of Traditional
Chinese Medicine to enable graduates in both areas.
